IMO, this should be okay, since it looks like you couldn't really keep a grip on it, though technically you can still wrap your thumb around it. I'd be willing to risk it with this.The Brouwer grip is slimmer by a lot. I would say a tad slimmer than the Wilson combat. To gain a slight grip increase and width you can add inner bike tire tubing as a sleeve that you slip on. That will probably fill in your hands with the medium SIG grip.
